This game was really exciting and suspenseful with the dark atmosphere and always running around looking for the exit! I kept playing more levels trying to see how fast I could complete it. I would love to see more of the red balls hiding around corners and having to evade them even quicker to add more suspense to this!
This game is very addictive! The darkness and huge map give it the creepy feeling, especially while playing at night. I would perhaps try adding just a bit more items or enemies.
I really liked the atmosphere and the ability to customize the map to make it more dark and spooky. The footsteps are a nice touch. I also liked the chaos of the randomly generated walls and how it feels like the back rooms. I think adding some sort of ambient noise would enhance the experience. I also didn't really find the red ball to be a threat since it was easy to sprint away from it. Maybe the red ball could be faster or there could be a stamina bar? Overall I enjoyed the game! :D
This game is nice! It's a chill game, I was so scared that something that was going to pop out and scare me. And that vibe was executed well from the aesthetic and sound. Being in a dark backrooms type environment and only hearing the sounds of your own steps added on to that ominous personality. The camera was a little laggy but that might've been my problem.
This game is so awesome, I love playing horror games and this is definitely up there for me. I would suggest maybe adding a scary soundtrack when the ball is locked onto you for more of a thrill.
I love this game!! It was so interesting. It took a simple concept and executed very well. I would say that the only thing is that I wish that the walking speed was a lot faster (or their was sprinting). Also, if there was some sort of person chasing you instead of a ball (making leaving seeming more urgent).
Love the idea of an inspired backrooms type of game. The procedurally generated rooms plus the emptiness of these rooms envelop the idea of the liminal spaces. Another idea would be to limit the sprint into a meter so it makes chase sequences thrilling and makes the player constantly check their resources to win the game. Another idea would be to also to add other obtstacles that would hinder the player from achieving the win. Loved the idea of making your own map that is based on your preferences!
This game gave me the adrenaline knowing that I was being chased by an object. If the game is still in the works, I believe having more levels and a different location would be a great. I had lots of fun playing this.
I know this was a solo endevor, so I commend you for all your work. There's so much you can do with this game, I think it has a lot of potential if you wanted to expand on it! The randomization of each level according to your own specifications is a great touch, and the danger orb is weirdly unsettling despite it just being a red ball. It's very fun to walk through everything, and the backrooms feel is very good. Amazing job!
